TechIsland Chairman Valentinos Polykarpou has expressed the Board of Directors' contentment on the recent announcement regarding Cyprus' performance in the European Innovation Scoreboard 2024.

"It is remarkable to see Cyprus maintaining its position as a Strong Innovator for the third consecutive year! Ranking 10th among EU member states, Cyprus has achieved 106.3% of the European average and marked the highest growth rate (39%) since 2017.
Most importantly, Cyprus has been recognized as a Top Performer in the "Linkages – Διασυνδέσεις" category, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the state, industry, and other relevant stakeholders.
At TechIsland, we firmly believe that public-private sector partnerships are crucial to fostering innovation, development, and growth. To this end, we reaffirm our commitment to cementing Cyprus' position as a technology hub and stand ready to leverage our resources to support this vision. Let’s continue to drive innovation and bring prosperity to Cyprus through a thriving digital economy," Polykarpou said in a TechIsland post on LinkedIn.
