New Jumbo store opening in Nicosia soon (pics)

Construction work is running at a fast pace for the imposing new Jumbo in Nicosia, with the building’s exterior taking shape and catching the eye of passersby before it has even been completed.

The chain’s second store in the capital and the sixth in Cyprus is being constructed in the space where the former headquarters of the Stephanides Group were located in Strovolos. The store is anticipated to become a pole of attraction for thousands of consumers once it opens.

The new store will have approximately 460 parking spaces, some of which are for people with disabilities, while the total area of the store will be around 10,000 square meters.

The new store’s opening date has yet to be announced.
