A look at the 55 airlines flying in and out of Cyprus airports this summer

At this time of year, the airports in Larnaca and Paphos are in their prime, serving thousands of passengers who either arrive in Cyprus or depart from the country every day.

According to data obtained by InBusinessNews from the managing company of the Cypriot airports, Hermes Airports, during the current summer season, there are 284 flights per day, a number that concerns both arrivals and departures, with 204 departing from Larnaca Airport and 80 from Paphos airport.

Based on the same data, around 52,000 passengers are travelling from the two airports in August, of which 37,000 from Larnaca airport and 15,000 from Paphos airport.

Based on the same data, a total of 55 airlines are operating 1,979 flights to 156 destinations in 38 countries per week from both airports, with most -51 in number- being served by Larnaca airport, while Paphos airport is served by 20 airlines.
