Yellow warning for extreme temperature in force on Wednesday, 21 August

The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures on Wednesday, 21 August.

According to the department, the maximum temperature over inland areas is expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius.

The warning is in effect from 11 am to 4 pm Wednesday, 21 August, the Department concluded.
