Wizz Air addresses recent incident on Warsaw to Larnaca flight

Wizz Air has addressed an incident involving a recent flight between Warsaw and Larnaca being carried out by the company.

A 21 August statement from the airline said, "On Monday August 19, flight W6 1451 from Warsaw (WAW) to Larnaca (LCA), returned to Warsaw shortly after takeoff when the First Officer reported feeling unwell. The Captain promptly decided to return to Warsaw and landed uneventfully. 



We want to emphasise that the safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. A new crew was arranged, and the flight continued to its destination shortly.

We appreciate our passengers' understanding and patience during this time and wish our colleague a speedy recovery."
