Larnaca Municipality upgrades Spyros Beach dog beach

The Spyros Beach dog beach in the Kassianes area south of the airport in Larnaca now offers visitors new facilities following its recent upgrade by Larnaca Municipality.

In a relevant statement, the Municipality said sunbeds and umbrellas have been placed for use by bathers accompanying their dogs to the sea. Their use is free.

Also, biological toilets and rubbish bins have been placed at the beach.

"Dogs and their owners can now more easily enjoy their walks and swims," the announcement continued.

The Municipality of Larnaca concluded that as part of its efforts to encourage the proper coexistence of people and animals, “in addition to the various measures implemented to protect our beloved four-legged friends,” it had created a functional dog park offering facilities for both dogs and their owners.
