Eurobank sponsored the India Mediterranean Business Conclave

As part of Eurobank Group’s strategic decision to establish a presence in India, it sponsored the India Mediterranean Business Conclave, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi on 6 September.

Demetris Eliades, Head of International Business Banking, and Panayiotis Chrysostomou, Manager, Banking Services & International Credit, had the chance to discuss business opportunities and explore avenues for collaboration with numerous investors and business leaders from India.

During his participation in the Round Table for Cyprus, Chrysostomou presented Eurobank’s India-related initiatives as part of a discussion on the capabilities and benefits provided by Cyprus as an attractive business destination and a gateway to the EU for Indian investors.

A distinguished group of Cypriot speakers joined the Round Table, including Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Nicodemos Damianou, High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in India Evagoras Vryonides, Theodoros Loukaidis, Director General at Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation, Invest Cyprus CEO Marios Tannousis, and Chrysilios Pelekanos, Tax Partner at PwC and President of the Cyprus-India Business Association.

The session, which was moderated by Ambassador Amrit Lugun, former Ambassador of India to Greece, provided valuable insights into enhancing India-Cyprus economic relations.
