CCCI establishes Cyprus-Baltic States Association

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced the establishment of the Cyprus-Baltic States Business Association aiming to promote, expand and encourage economic and trade relations between Cyprus and the Baltic States.

According to a CCCI press release, the primary aim of the Business Association is to promote, expand, and strengthen collaborations between businesses in the Republic of Cyprus and those in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Moreover, the Association seeks to showcase the dynamic elements of the Cypriot economy, focusing on the vast potential for partnerships and investments. It also highlights Cyprus as a strategic hub for business activities that extend beyond the European Union to regions such as the Middle East and North Africa.

During the Association's Inaugural Assembly, CCCI Secretary General, Marios Tsiakkis, stated that the establishment of this Association is set to deepen economic ties between Cyprus and the Baltic States, providing substantial opportunities for collaboration and growth in sectors such as trade, investment, and technology. “The Association will act as a vital platform for networking and innovation, fostering cooperation between businesses for the mutual benefit of all parties” he added.
