After 57 years at Griva Digeni Avenue in the centre of Nicosia, historic patisserie Ariston has decided to end its journey in the area and close the store it has worked out of for almost six decades.
Ariston confectionery, which since 1967 has put its own stamp on the capital's confectionery scene, is now preparing to open in a new location, in Engomi.
The new patisserie, which will be opening soon, will be located on 28th of October Avenue, opposite the Mall of Engomi.
For now, consumers can get their favourite sweets from another Ariston confectionery location, on Ilia Papakyriakou Street in Engomi.
The wide range of products includes, among others, a variety of sweet, savory and syrupy treats, cupcakes, three-dimensional cakes, as well as the signature collection by Demetris Tsangarides, the company director and pastry chef.
The flagship products of the pastry shop include wedding cakes and wedding delights, considered the secret of Ariston's success.
