Transport Minister travelling to Budapest for Informal EU Ministers' meeting

Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works, Alexis Vafeadis, is in Budapest to participate in the Informal Council of EU Transport Ministers on 20 September.

A statement from the Ministry of Transport said that during the Informal Council, discussions will focus on ways to develop national mobility systems based on improved connectivity, so that both infrastructure development and service enhancement can more effectively contribute to connecting regions and countries, as well as strengthening the cohesion and common competitiveness of the EU member states.

In the field of transport, the priorities of the Hungarian Presidency of the EU Council include promoting better connectivity, improving transport competitiveness, green transport, and enhancing transport safety, with a focus on eliminating fatalities and serious injuries on European roads.
