The co-financed projects over the next three years - The amounts to be allocated per Ministry

€600 million in total is the amount that will be allocated for the EU's co-financed cohesion policy and common fisheries policy project over the next three years 2025-2027, €200 million for each year.

The detailed amounts/allocation for each Ministry, Deputy Ministry and Service are revealed in the data for the 2025 State Budget and the Medium-Term Financial Framework (MFP) 2025-2027, following their approval by the Cabinet.

The indicative allocation for co-financed projects refers to projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund, the European Social Fund, the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund and the Just Transition Fund.

The co-financed projects or sponsorship projects with the highest amounts concern the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment (€117 million for the three years 2025-2027), the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works (€107 million for the three years 2025- 2027) and the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (€105 million for the three years 2025-2027).

  • INTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

For 2025, 2026 and 2027, the indicative amount allocated (amount in centralised provision of the General Directorate of Development) amounts to €30,000 for each year and concerns technical assistance.

  • DEPUTY MINISTRY OF RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND DIGITAL POLICY

The amount in the centralised provision of DG Development is €10 million for 2025, €9 million for 2026 and €10 million for 2027

The amounts concern, among others, the Administration of the Deputy Ministry of Research and Innovation and are related to research and innovation grant projects implemented through the Research and Innovation Foundation.

The amounts, which will be allocated, reach €32 million for 2025, €34 million for 2026 and €39 million for 2027.
