Wizz Air commemorates Cyprus National Independence Day with a 15% discount

In celebration of Cyprus’ Independence Day, Wizz Air has announced a 24 hour-only 15% discount for Cypriot travelers flying from Larnaca Airport to any destination.

"With this promotion, Wizz Air honors the spirit of Cypriot independence, giving local passengers the opportunity to explore new destinations, reconnect with loved ones, or embark on spontaneous getaways—all while saving on their journey. The discount is available for flights booked on October 1st, marking a fitting celebration of both national pride and the freedom to travel," a press release from the airline noted.

The offer is valid for bookings from 10 October until 15 December.

The company also said that Wizz Air’s base in Cyprus is a cornerstone of its operations, having recently reached an impressive milestone of 8 million passengers. "The base connects Cyprus with dozens of vibrant cities across Europe and beyond, offering Cypriot travelers unparalleled access to affordable travel. This 15% discount is valid for all Cypriot travelers booking via wizzair.com or the Wizz mobile app on October 1st, 2024 traveling from Larnaca Airport. The discount is valid for bookings from October to mid- December. Tickets are expected to sell fast, so travelers are encouraged to book early and secure their next adventure at unbeatable prices.
