Turnover in Transport and Storage up by 1.8% in Q2 2024

The turnover in Transport and Storage marked an annual increase of 1.8% in the second quarter of 2024, the CySTAT has announced.

According to data released by CySTAT, increases relative to the second quarter of the previous year were observed in the activities of land transport by 6.7%, in water transport by 6.4%, in postal and courier activities by 3.7% and in air transport by 2.2% and in warehousing and support activities for transportation by 1.1%.

During the period January-June 2024, the Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage recorded an increase by 1.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2023, CySTAT added.
