Unique Smiles declares February as 'FebRare Month'

Unique Smiles, the non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by rare diseases in Cyprus, is proud to officially designate February as 'FebRare Month.'

"This groundbreaking initiative elevates global efforts tied to Rare Disease Day by extending the spotlight across all 28 days of February, raising awareness and inspiring action for the 60,000 individuals in Cyprus and 300 million worldwide living with rare diseases," a relevant press release notes.

Rare Disease Day, traditionally observed on the last day of February, serves as a vital opportunity to amplify the voices of those impacted by rare conditions. With FebRare Month, Unique Smiles is expanding these efforts, transforming the entire month into a powerful platform for education, advocacy, and inclusivity. Through a coordinated campaign of media outreach, community events, and digital activations, FebRare Month will engage the public, promote understanding, and foster compassion for the challenges faced by the rare disease community.

As part of this initiative, Unique Smiles is launching its first FebRare Sponsorship Pack, inviting individuals, businesses, and organisations to join the movement and support this cause. The sponsorship packages provide an opportunity to contribute directly to the campaign while gaining visibility through a multi-platform media strategy that includes TV, radio, and digital promotions.
