Strovolos Municipality awards Cyfield Asphalt Co Ltd €1.28m roadworks tender

Strovolos Municipality has awarded Cyfield Asphalt Co Ltd the contract to carry out roadworks worth €1.08 million plus VAT.
Given that VAT is 19%, this brings the total value to approximately €1.28m.
More specifically, according to a Municipality announcement, the contract is connected to the replacement of 7.5km of the Municipality’s road network.
The contract was signed on 14 January, with Strovolos Mayor Stavros Stravrinides signing on the municipality’s behalf and Executive Director Efi Chrysochou signing on behalf of Cyfield Asphalt Co Ltd. The company won the tender following an open competition.
According to the same announcement, the duration of the works will be four months from the date of the signing of the contract.
