University of Nicosia Medical School joins READI Project

The University of Nicosia Medical School is participating in the pioneering Research in Europe and Diversity Inclusion (READI) project.
This significant initiative aims to transform clinical research throughout Europe. The collaborative effort involves 73 organisations from 18 countries and is supported by €66.8 million in funding from the Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking (IHI JU) and contributing industry partners.
“Prof Zoi-Dorothea Pana represents our Medical School as a co-coordinator in Work Package 1, focusing on improved inclusion of underrepresented groups, including ethnic, sexual, and gender minorities, as well as those facing socioeconomic and geographic barriers,” the Medical School explained in an announcement.
