La Petite Maison and Acqua Di Parma announce Valentine’s Day collaboration
Press Release 13:31 - 24 January 2025
Renowned French Riviera-inspired restaurant group, La Petite Maison (LPM), and iconic Italian fragrance house, Acqua di Parma, have brought together the heart and soul of the Mediterranean with a special Valentine’s Day collaboration to ignite the senses.
In line with the launch of Acqua di Parma’s new Colonia Il Profumo fragrance and coinciding with the beginning of the Fête du Citron in the French city of Menton, La Petite Maison has created a bespoke dessert and cocktail pairing inspired by the unique scent notes of the fragrance and the vibrant flavours of the Riviera, which will be served at all LPM restaurants globally from Valentine’s Day from 14 February to 2 March.
The collaboration unites the romantic essence of the French and Italian Rivieras, drawing inspiration from the shared symbol of citrus fruits celebrated during the Fête du Citron - the Lemon Festival of Menton, the warmest city in the South of France wherein LPM’s roots lie. Beginning on 15th February - 2nd March, the Fête du Citron celebrates the end of winter and the start of citrus fruits coming into season - emblematic of the timeless magic of a Mediterranean Spring that speaks to the identity of both brands.
Developed by La Petite Maison’s Global Pastry Chef, Benjamin, the Tarte Tropézienne à la Bergamote (Bergamot Tropézienne Tart with Grapefruit Jam) is a citrus twist on the typical Tarte Tropezienne, one of the French Riviera’s most-adored sweet treats. Made with a light, lemon infused brioche with bergamot cream and grapefruit jam, the fresh and elegant flavours represent the refined notes of Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Il Profumo fragrance, beautifully served on Acqua di Parma’s signature tableware - and best shared between two. Complementing the dessert is the Vibrante cocktail, developed by La Petite Maison’s Group Beverage Director, Tibor Krascsenics, a zesty, aromatic and fruit concoction of Ketel One Vodka, champagne, bergamot, lemon, Madagascar vanilla and a hint of sandalwood, with a non-alcoholic version also available. Each guest who orders the limited–edition menu items on Valentine’s Day will also receive a sample of Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Il Profumo fragrance and a mini candle Luce di Colonia.
The new Colonia Il Profumo is a modern and intensified interpretation of Acqua di Parma’s first ever fragrance, the Colonia which originally launched in 1916, and captures the sun-drenched vibrancy of the Italian coast with lively notes of bergamot, grapefruit, blood orange and petitgrain, elevated by the addition of ylang-ylang creating a multi-layered aromatic experience. The flavours of LPM’s bespoke dessert and cocktail marry perfectly with the earthy, citrus fragrance notes, inviting guests to reminisce on dreamy vacations spent on the Mediterranean coast.
Guests will enjoy La Petite Maison’s signature French Riviera-inspired menu that has long captivated the hearts of regulars and new faces alike, with its focus on the highest quality seasonal ingredients that explore the joie de vivre of French-Mediterranean cuisine. Stand out dishes include Warm Prawns with Olive Oil and Lemon Juice and Snails with Garlic Butter and Parsley; Salt Baked Sea Bass with Artichokes and Tomatoes, and Marinated Lamb Cutlets with Olive and Aubergine Caviar and Pine nuts, as well as the cult-favourite Vanilla Crème Brûlée for dessert. LPM’s wine list offers an extensive range of wines of global repute, with LPM being a world leader in rosés.
