Open call for submissions to The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) Student Art Competition

The Sovereign Group in Cyprus, in collaboration with The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF), is organising The Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize, Cyprus 2025 for the second consecutive year.

Twenty participants will be selected to publicly exhibit their work in May 2025. The judges eagerly await the submissions from the talented students. The artwork submission period is now open and will close on 12 February, 2025.

The student awards aim to:

  • Recognise the work of talented secondary-school art students.
  • Provide an opportunity to exhibit their work to a broad and engaged audience.
  • Celebrate the significance of art in education while supporting successful secondary-school art programs, benefiting a greater number of students.

Winners will receive cash prizes of up to €2,000 and will share a portion of their prize with their respective schools.

Who is it for, and how can students apply?

The competition is open to secondary-level students aged 11 to 18, who are enrolled in a secondary institution in Cyprus during the 2024–2025 academic year, or homeschooled students within the same age range.

This prestigious student prize has already been held in more than ten countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Each secondary school is invited to nominate up to ten students. For more details about the submission process, please visit the Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize Cyprus 2025 website or contact us via email. To view the Terms and Conditions, please click here.
