Upcoming events in Mumbai to highlight Cyprus-India business opportunities

As the countdown to the ‘Cyprus in Mumbai’ series of events begins, the Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has invited stakeholders to participate and explore the potential of Cyprus-India relations and generate new prospects for collaboration and growth.

In a LinkedIn post, the Consulate noted that the objectives of the 19 and 20 February events included showcasing opportunities and increasing interest in Cyprus and its potential as a hub for trade, culture, and tourism.

They also include strengthening ties, fostering stronger connections between Indian and Cypriot businesses through exchanges and collaborations.

Another objective is the inauguration of the Honourary Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in Mumbai.

“The events enhance the growing relationship between India and the Republic of Cyprus. It showcases Cyprus as an attractive destination as well as a vital gateway to Europe for Indian businesses and investors,” the post also notes.

The events will include a series of informative sessions featuring expert speakers from Cyprus aimed at stakeholders including investors, entrepreneurs, and those active in the tourism, corporate, manufacturing, tax, legal, banking, capital market, and wealth management sectors.

The event is being organised by H.E. High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in India and the Honourary Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in Mumbai.
