Freight transport in Cyprus up 9.9% during the third quarter of 2024

During the period July-September 2024, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 9.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2023, according to data published by CySTAT.

On the contrary, the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus decreased by 3.6%.

During the period January-September 2024, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 7.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2023, while the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus also increased by 1.6%.
