Cyprus-based Nodes & Links raises $12m to transform construction industry with AI

With offices in Cyprus and the UK, Cypriot startup Nodes & Links has raised $12m in Series B funding towards its mission to tackle the $12 trillion global construction industry’s productivity crisis.

Nodes & Links’ flagship platform, powered by agentic AI, integrates siloed data, automates reporting, and provides real-time insights to help teams proactively manage large-scale projects. By predicting risks and surfacing critical information instantly, the platform allows project managers to focus on solving challenges rather than sifting through data.

It is worth noting that Nodes & Links’ flagship platform is already trusted by international companies such as AECOM, Turner & Townsend, Costain, Laing O’Rourke, Intel and many other Fortune 500 companies.

According to an announcement from the company, their efforts will enable faster and more sustainable infrastructure development with the $12m Series B funding to be used, “to support international growth plans cementing their European presence and expanding into the US.”

More specifically, according to Nodes & Links’ announcement, “We have raised $12 million in Series B funding, led by ETF Partners, to accelerate our global mission of transforming how construction teams manage projects. Nodes & Links uses AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, predict risks, and deliver real-time insights, empowering teams to complete projects faster, more efficiently, and sustainably.”

Commenting on the funding, Greg Lawton, CEO of Nodes & Links, said, “Construction is a backbone of modern life, but it’s plagued by inefficiencies and outdated processes. Our AI flips the script, enabling teams to anticipate challenges, make smarter decisions, and deliver on time and on budget.”

“Construction is notorious for reactive problem-solving,” Lawton pictured above, on the right, next to the company's CTO Dr Christos Ellinas, said, “Our AI gives teams the tools they need to take control, streamlining workflows that traditionally take days into seconds.”

The platform has already received votes of confidence from industry leaders.

On a data centre project with Turner & Townsend, Nodes & Links automated program management tasks and delivered actionable insights in seconds, replacing processes that once took days.

“By identifying critical insights efficiently, project managers can focus on mitigating challenges and improving outcomes,” Turner & Townsend commented.

Smarter, Greener, and Faster Construction

“The platform’s predictive analytics extend beyond improving productivity. By analysing past portfolio performance, construction teams can make better plans and quickly adapt to disruptions, reducing delays and cost overruns,” Nodes & Links' announcement noted.

Nodes & Links went on to point out that it was also addressing one of construction’s most pressing challenges: sustainability. The platform helps teams monitor and reduce embodied carbon throughout the project lifecycle, enabling companies to balance growth with environmental goals.

AECOM, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure management, has adopted Nodes & Links to advance its sustainability goals.

“Nodes & Links enables our teams to unlock tailored predictive insights quickly and easily, allowing us to fine-tune plans and monitor them closely throughout execution,” said Richard Newey, Project Controls Director at AECOM. “This approach has led to healthier, more efficient, and greener project outcomes.”

Unlocking Construction’s Potential

While industries like manufacturing and logistics have embraced advanced technologies, construction has been slow to innovate. Nodes & Links aims to change that, its announcement said.

“Nodes & Links has cracked the code on making AI practical and scalable for construction teams,” said Lucy Rands, Partner at ETF Partners. “It’s not about abstract solutions—it’s about addressing the specific challenges holding the industry, and our world, back.”

With this funding, Nodes & Links plans to expand its AI capabilities, grow its reach in high-demand sectors like infrastructure and data centers, and further position itself as the go-to solution for construction teams worldwide.

“The construction industry has the potential to shape the future,” Lawton concluded, “With the right tools, that future looks brighter, more sustainable, and far more productive.”
