Invest Cyprus and Νicosia Municipality hold event to promote investment in the capital

Invest Cyprus, in collaboration with the Municipality of Nicosia, organised a networking event titled "Why Nicosia" on 25 February, aimed at bringing together the capital's investors and institutional stakeholders to network and exchange views.

The event was a platform to showcase Nicosia's unique selling points as a premium destination for foreign direct investment and the establishment of company headquarters, a press release by Invest Cyprus said.

It added that it provided investors with an opportunity to express their needs and challenges. Held at the Old Nicosia Town Hall, the event commenced with a speech by the President of Invest Cyprus Evgenios Evgeniou, followed by remarks from TechIsland Chairman Valentinos Polykarpou.

Nicosia Mayor Charalambos Prountzos said that the event allowed Nicosia's business entities and investors to connect with institutional stakeholders, discuss issues pertinent to their fields, convey their concerns, and, most importantly, share their perspectives on further leveraging and promoting Nicosia as a leading business centre.

CEO of Invest Cyprus Marios Tannousis said that through this platform, they aim to facilitate the exchange of views and showcase Nicosia's unique opportunities as a central business hub.
