The submission of applications for the Cyprus Innovation Award by OEB has begun

The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) is announcing the commencement of the application submission for the 18th Cyprus Innovation Award by OEB. The awards showcase the excellence and creativity of Cypriot businesses and organizations.

OEB conceived the idea of the Cyprus Innovation Award 18 years ago, with the goal of recognizing the best and most innovative ideas to have been successfully implemented by Cypriot companies and organizations. The Cyprus Innovation Award by OEB is considered the highest award for recognizing the effective and innovative implementation of new processes, products, services or practices which aim at satisfying customer demand or offering a solution to an issue within a company, society or the economy as whole.

Four Innovation Awards are offered as follows:

• Innovation Award for the Primary Sector (Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing, etc.)
• Innovation Award for the Manufacturing Sector (Industry)
• Innovation Award for the Services Sector
• Social Innovation Award

The Highest Distinction

The Cyprus Innovation Award by OEB represent the highest distinction for innovative practices and initiatives in Cyprus and throughout their journey, have highlighted the successes of dozens of businesses and organizations, which, through their unique initiatives, have demonstrated that Cyprus can be a source of inspiration for innovation in business. Over the previous years, many companies have been selected among hundreds of entries, indicating that Cyprus has a vibrant innovation ecosystem along with the necessary human resources to implement innovative ideas and practices that are deserving of recognition.

Similarly to previous years, businesses and organizations aiming for distinction, differentiation, and enhanced competitiveness through innovation are anticipated to show strong interest in the award once again.

The competition is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and the Research and Innovation Foundation.

The Award Ceremony

A prestigious award ceremony of the Cyprus Innovation Award by OEB will take place on March 26, 2025 in the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, honoring the winners for the successful implementation of their innovative proposals.

Applications should be submitted by: February 13, 2025.
