The recipients of the IN Business Supply Chain and Logistics Awards

Distinguished personalities and companies were honored for their significant contribution to the supply chain and logistics sector in Cyprus, during the IN Business Supply Chain and Logistics Awards ceremony, which took place within the framework of the 18th Supply Chain & Logistics Conference & Exhibition.

The first award was presented to Petros Vassilopoulos, a main shareholder and Executive Director of G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group.

With over 20 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain sector, Vassilopoulos has managed to lead the G.A.P. Vassilopoulos group towards becoming the largest Third Party Logistics service provider in Cyprus.

His award recognises his ongoing contribution to the development of the sector and the introduction of innovative practices.

Christos Christoudias, Managing Director of Christoudias Logistics, was awarded for his remarkable career in the logistics sector, with his company having become a leader in the provision of integrated Third Party Logistics services in Cyprus.

The adaptation and reorganisation of logistics networks and processes is one of the many innovations that characterise it.

In the company category, Marathon Distributors was honored for its excellent performance in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

The award was received by Simoni Kapakioti, Managing Dirctor of Marathon Distributors.

Vassos Eliades Ltd, with its leading position in the Cypriot market, received the award for its quality distribution of consumer goods and its excellent supply chain management.

The award was received by Andreas Mavroudes, Logistics Manager at Vassos Eliades Ltd.

The institution of the IN Business Supply Chain and Logistics Awards returned this year with the aim of highlighting and rewarding businesses and personalities that have invested and pioneered innovative practices and approaches in the supply chain, warehousing and logistics sector.

The awardees were selected by the editorial team of IN Business magazine, based on their contribution and their effort to integrate innovative practices in the supply chain, warehousing and logistics sector.
