Can you introduce yourself and Limassol Greens?

I am Raphaella Kleanthous, the HR and Administration Officer of Limassol Greens, an upcoming luxury golf resort located in west Limassol, Cyprus. We are dedicated to providing world-class golf, real estate and leisure experiences for both local and international guests. As a growing organization, we focus on combining exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a sense of community. Our goal is to create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to the resort’s success.

What were the main HR challenges your company faced and decided to look for a new HRIS?

Like many start-up companies, one of our biggest challenges was to set up the HR department and consequently, manage the increasing volume of HR tasks as we are growing. As we brought more employees on board, we found ourselves struggling with manual HR processes, such as employee record-keeping, onboarding, and performance management. These tasks were time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacked the level of integration we needed for a smoother workflow. Additionally, we lacked a centralized system to monitor employee development, extract reports and analytics, and streamline communication. It became clear that we needed a more efficient, automated HRM solution.

The Decision-Making Process

What made you choose OneJar and OrangeHRM as the HRM of choice?

We were looking for a solution that was flexible, cost effective, and user-friendly. We were able to get up and running in a timely manner, and the user training provided ensured that our team could use the system effectively from day one.

What kind of support did you receive from our team during and after the implementation?

Throughout the implementation, the support from OneJar and the OrangeHRM team was exceptional. They provided training and implementation sessions to ensure that we understood how to use the software effectively. Any technical issues we encountered were quickly addressed, and the team was always available to help troubleshoot. Even after the implementation, the support continued, with periodic check-ins and quick responses to any follow-up questions or concerns. This ongoing support gave us peace of mind and helped us fully maximize the potential of the system.

How has OrangeHRM transformed your HR processes?

Although we have just recently went live, OrangeHRM has had a significant impact on our HR processes. We’ve been able to automate many of our manual tasks, such as onboarding, leave management, and performance appraisals, which has freed up valuable time for the HR team. The system also allows for better visibility into employee data, helping us generate all kinds of reports and make more informed decisions. Additionally, having all of our HR functions in one centralized system has improved our communication and collaboration across departments, ultimately leading to increased efficiency. One of the standout features of OrangeHRM is its mobile app, which makes managing HR tasks on the go incredibly easy, allowing our team to stay connected and access all sort of information no matter where they are.

What advice would you give to other companies considering HR software implementation?

My advice would be to take the time to carefully assess their company’s specific needs and choose an HR solution that is accessible and customizable. They should ensure that they select a system that offers strong customer support and resources for implementation and training. Be patient during the onboarding process, as it may take some time to fully transition to the new system, but the long-term benefits of streamlined HR processes and improved data management are well worth the effort. Lastly, they should involve key stakeholders early on to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption.
