AnimaWings launches direct flights from Larnaca to Bucharest

The Romanian airline AnimaWings has launched direct flights between Larnaca and Bucharest, operating three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
During the launching event, Marius Pandel, Chairman of the Board of AnimaWings, Diana Dima, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and Alexandru Nicolae, Director of Systems, highlighted the strategic significance of this new route. They also emphasised the airline’s commitment to providing high-quality and affordable air services while outlining plans for further expansion of its network.
"Cyprus holds a special place for Romanian travelers, whether for leisure, business, or family visits, and we are proud to offer a high-quality travel experience," Pandel said.
On his part, Antonis Orthodoxou, CEO of Orthodoxou Aviation Ltd, which serves as the general sales agent for AnimaWings in Cyprus, stated that "the direct connection between Larnaca and Bucharest will enhance connectivity between Cyprus and Romania, contributing to tourism growth while also strengthening trade relations between the two nations."
He further mentioned that, "AnimaWings' network is expected to expand in the future, "offering more connections to European capitals at the most competitive prices."
Maria Kouroupi, Director of Aviation Development, Marketing, and Communications at Hermes Airports, welcomed AnimaWings to Larnaca Airport and said that "through this new partnership, Hermes Airports takes another step in expanding Cyprus’ connectivity, providing more travel options with a country that shares strong ties with us."
