Shipping Deputy Minister Hadjimanolis to speak at European Shipping Summit

Deputy Minister of Shipping to the President Marina Hadjimanolis will be paying a working visit to Brussels, where she will participate as a speaker at the European Shipping Summit, organised by the European Community Shipowners’ Associations.

As part of her visit, the Deputy Minister will hold a meeting with Cypriot Members of the European Parliament to brief them on Cyprus’ positions regarding European shipping and the initiatives of the Deputy Ministry of Shipping during the upcoming Cypriot Presidency of the EU Council.

Additionally, the Deputy Minister of Shipping will have a bilateral meeting with Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications, Lulu Ranne, to discuss matters of common interest as well as the challenges facing European and global shipping, a Deputy Ministry announcement said.
