Cyprus is an important market for AnimaWings and for this reason the growing Romanian airline is dedicated to strengthening its presence in the region, having as its goals, among others, the expansion of the Bucharest-Larnaca route with additional flights and the strengthening of its local partnerships with travel agencies and tourism operators in Cyprus.

As AnimaWings President of the Board & Co-owner Marius Pantel emphasises in an interview with InBusinessNews, in the above context, the Romanian airline's collaboration with Orthodoxou Aviation is crucial for strengthening its position in Cyprus.

“As a trusted partner with deep expertise in the local aviation and tourism market, Orthodoxou Aviation helps us expand our distribution channels, enhance customer support, and build strong relationships with Cypriot travelers,” Pantel notes.

The President of the Board & Co-owner of AnimaWings talks about the airline's top priorities, which include network expansion, fleet modernisation and digital innovation, while also referring to the low-cost airline market, which, as he notes, "is highly competitive, with challenges such as fluctuating fuel prices, regulatory changes, and evolving passenger expectations."

The low-cost airline market is highly competitive, with challenges such as fluctuating fuel prices, regulatory changes, and evolving passenger expectations. To stay ahead, we focus on cost optimisation without compromising quality, leveraging modern aircraft that reduce fuel consumption and operational costs. We also prioritise customer engagement and loyalty through attractive fare structures, flexible ticketing options, and enhanced in-flight experiences. Additionally, we invest in digital innovation, making the booking process, check-in, and overall travel experience as smooth as possible.

Our top priorities include network expansion, fleet modernisation, and digital innovation. We are actively working on increasing our destinations, particularly in strategic leisure and business hubs. The success of our newly launched routes (domestic and international) has encouraged us to explore further opportunities for other destinations, such as Tel Aviv or Dublin. In terms of fleet, we have an ambitious plan to increase our number of aircrafts to a total of 12 units, A220 and A320, till 2027 and to expand our routes network all over Europe, but also to cover as much as possible of the 16 existing airports in Romania.

Has AnimaWings undergone its own digital transformation, with the adoption of new technologies?

Yes, AnimaWings has embraced digital transformation to enhance the passenger experience. Our user-friendly booking platform, online check-in system, and real-time flight updates ensure a seamless journey. We have also implemented data-driven strategies to optimise pricing, route planning, and customer service. Additionally, we are exploring AI-driven solutions for personalised travel recommendations and improved customer interactions.
