Cyprus Coastal Regatta 2025: The first-ever regatta in Cyprus by Limassol Marina and Ayia Napa Marina

Mark your sporting calendars for the island’s first-ever Coastal Regatta, organised by Limassol Marina and Ayia Napa Marina.

Cyprus is setting a new standard in the world of yacht racing, calling all captains and crew of the Limassol yachting community to join in the first of its kind prestigious nautical event. The Cyprus Coastal Regatta aims to be an enchanting day on the Mediterranean’s azure waters, and the start of an island-wide annual tradition of international, long-distance yacht racing.

Cyprus Coastal Regatta will take place on Thursday, 1 May 2025, starting from Limassol Marina and finishing at Ayia Napa Marina. A Skipper’s Meeting will be held on 30 April at Limassol Marina where registrations will take place, followed by drinks and finger food and an opportunity for yachters to share their excitement about the upcoming race. The event will culminate on 2nd May, with a prize-giving and party ceremony at Ayia Napa Marina.

The regatta seeks to strengthen local sailing while laying the foundations for a future international event. In its initial stages, the race targets mainly local sailors but in the future, it is envisioned to develop into a globally recognised event starting from Latchi and ending in Paralimni. Cyprus Coastal Regatta is not just a sailing event but an essential step towards strengthening cooperation between marinas and promoting Cyprus as a leading sailing destination.

Whether you are a professional sailor or a sea lover who loves adventure, the Cyprus Coastal Regatta invites you to be part of something truly unique.

The Golden Sponsor of the event is Alphamega, with the valued support of Costas Damianou Raymarine and COMAR as supporting sponsors.
