Intergaz supports the theatrical performance “The Ignored” in honour of International Women’s Day 2025
Press Release 10:20 - 07 March 2025

To mark International Women’s Day 2025 and its global theme "Accelerate Action", Intergaz is reinforcing its commitment to inclusion and women’s empowerment by supporting the continuation of the theatrical monologues “The Ignored”, which will be performed in March at the “House of Cyprus”, in Athens.
This initiative is part of Intergaz’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, reaffirming the company’s dedication to supporting the arts, cultural expression, and initiatives that amplify women's voices.
The performance “The Ignored”, presented as a dramatized reading, is part of a multifaceted cultural project that includes the publication “Pure Wrath”, theatrical performances, video art, music, and a short film screening. It highlights the stories of women affected by the tragic events of 1974, bringing to light the voices of the “ignored”—those who never received the recognition and support they deserved.
Intergaz stands alongside initiatives that give women a voice and preserve our country's historical memory. Through this collaboration, Intergaz aims to raise awareness and foster discussion on issues of equality and justice. Art is a powerful catalyst for change, and the company is proud to support a performance that conveys such profound messages. With 51 years of presence and a leading role in the island’s energy sector, Intergaz places great emphasis on sponsorship programs that promote culture, recognising the importance of the arts as a means of social awareness and the preservation of cultural heritage.
The performance is written and produced by Katerina Nikolaou, with artistic direction by Nefeli Kentoni and music composed by Nama Dama. The cast includes Penny Foiniri and Dimitra Chatzigianni on stage, while Marina Makri and Anastasia Dimitriadou appear on screen.
