American Medical Center “most reliable medical centre in Cyprus”, survey says
Press Release 13:04 - 29 April 2025

The American Medical Center (AMC) has ranked first among all major hospitals in the country for the ninth consecutive year, on the reliability index of a nationwide survey conducted by polling company RAI Consultants.
The survey covered both urban and rural areas and involved male and female participants over the age of 18. It once again confirmed the citizens’ unwavering trust in the services and medical staff of the AMC.
The Co-Founders of the American Medical Center, Dr Marinos Sotiriou and Dr Christos Christou, commenting on the survey results, said that citizens' trust is a particular honour for the Center, but at the same time, a great responsibility.
In a field as sensitive as healthcare, they said, reliability is not a given; rather, it is earned daily through care, consistency, and dedication to each patient. This consistent recognition serves as motivation for AMC to continue its efforts with the same commitment, the co-founders added.
The results of the survey, said Dr Sotiriou and Dr Christou, demonstrate the crucial role that the private sector plays in healthcare, compared to the public sector and hospitals operating within the General Healthcare System (GeSY).
The American Medical Center said in a press release that it remains committed to its mission of offering high-level medical care to thousands of citizens, based on knowledge, innovation, specialisation, and respect for the patient.
Ongoing investment in highly trained medical personnel, modern infrastructure, and cutting-edge technology reinforces AMC’s commitment to continuous development and leadership in the healthcare sector.
As part of its strategic vision for growth and expansion, the American Medical Center is moving forward with the creation of a new state-of-the-art center in Limassol, which is expected to be completed and operational within 2026.
